Twenty miles inland from Beira, Mozambique, is the town of Dondo where Tanneken Fros has been ministering since 2001. The focus of the ministry is to care for orphans and widows in their distress, to care for the poor, evangelize the lost, plant churches, train pastors, disciple believers, and be a place of constant praise, worship, and prayer.
Believing that God’s best plan for Mozambican children is to see them cared for and raised up by godly Mozambican families, Tanneken’s Children Project seeks to place orphans with community families. Tanneken’s Children Fund has been set up to assist with the church-family-based orphan care program that will allow friends around the world to assist these Mozambican families desiring to care for orphans. Download a brochure "Church-Family based Orphan Care" for more information or email missions@zionchapel.org.
